Mat
Mat Pilates is a workout where gravity provides the resistance. The instructor will teach the fundamental exercise with low to moderate intensity, focusing on warming up and developing inner muscular connections. rather than maximising strength gains. As you learn the skills required for these exercises, the sequence and position in a mat workout can been changed to meet individual needs. There is a maximum of 8 clients in a class
Reformer
The Reformer class is a workout that focuses on muscle training using the principles of Pilates. The instructor often uses props to add variety and modify exercises for good biomechanics. It is not designed for fitness or weight training, and is not recommended for clients with acute injuries or those in the second or third trimester of pregnancy. There is a maximum of 4 clients per class.
